A dual processor laptop essentially has two processing cores that can and will deliver higher performance when multitasking several applications at once (i.e. checking email in Outlook, streaming video, chatting on instant messenger, uploading files to social networks, etc.).  There is also less energy consumption due to the chipset advancements that provide increased energy efficiency with less drain and longer battery life. They may be a tad bit more expensive when you plan on buy laptop computer, but it’s well worth the additional investment.
